Specification
Written description of the invention
There are two kinds of AI research pages on the internet: papers about what might work, and products that prove what does. Colapietro Labs is the second kind. Jason Colapietro runs his applied work in public, and the publication format is a live URL. Hypotheses about agent monetization became Suede Agent Studio. Hypotheses about creative provenance became the Suede IP Registry on Base and Avalanche. Hypotheses about conversational coaching became Strumly and Suede Muse, argued with daily users instead of reviewers.
The research themes are consistent: autonomous agents and the x402 payment rail that lets them charge for work, verification-first architecture that removes trust assumptions, ownership infrastructure for creative output, and the practical craft of one person operating a product estate with AI leverage. Each theme has a shipped artifact and a written argument. The books, from Proof as Infrastructure to Stake Your Claim, are the lab’s long-form record.
Working in public is a methodological choice, not a marketing one. Live products generate the failure cases that matter, users are harsher than peer review, and a public GitHub trail under JasonColapietro keeps the claims honest. If you want to collaborate, evaluate, or just check the work: everything is one click from this page, running.
